A rare heritage corn, we are growing and milling Bloody Butcher. Because its yield is very low compared to conventional corn, it has been grown by home gardeners, but not commercial operations. Therefore, it is not available in most grocery stores.
Make sure to look at our Heritage Corn Recipes, where you will learn more about how I substitute a local native grain for rice. Our Bloody Butcher corn is grown organically at Mt. Folly Farm in Winchester, Kentucky.
